24 weeks preterm labor

After the last scare my doctor has scheduled to see me once a week for a check up. Although I don’t suffer from high blood, cholesterol, diabetes or any other serious challenges my pregnancy still remains “high risk”. Any form of vaginal bleeding is considered very serious.

There was light bleeding and I was admitted once again for close observation as there was clear signs for early labor. I received two shots of steroids to help with the development of the lungs for our little one. Antibiotics via drip and orally to prevent any infection. The Uterogestan continued with Adalat to stop any contractions and bleeding.

I am so happy the bleeding stopped, the baby moves so much I feel at ease knowing he is okay. What a little survivor 🙂
